Abstract. Current efforts to derive constraints on primordial physics and cosmological parameters from Large-Scale Structure observations are mainly based on summary statistics, for example n-point correlation functions of the density field of biased tracers such as galaxies.

An alternative method, that in principle allows to make use of the information coming from all n-point functions, is that of forward-modeling the galaxy density field itself. I discuss how this can be achieved in the framework of the Effective Field Theory of Large-Scale Structure.
