This virtual event is aimed at bringing together African scientists working in the broad area of experimental and theoretical physical sciences to share their latest research activities. This conference is aimed at promoting better awareness of the research going on in the African continent and to facilitate networking especially amongst younger scientists. The conference will include a series of plenary talks in collaboration with the African Light Source (AfLS) meeting that will be occurring in parallel, research talks by invited speakers and a selected number of contributed talks and posters.
