Abstract: These long quarantine times got me thinking a little bit about the many different faces the uncertainty principle for the Fourier transform has. We will discuss briefly a few classical results and slowly move towards uncharted territories. There will be interesting connections to number theory and a few other surprises along the way. This is based on a recent joint work with Oscar Quesada-Herrera (IMPA - Brazil).
