Two-level quantum dots coupled to two reservoirs with spinless electrons with no particular symmetries can be mapped exactly to a generalized spinful single-impurity Anderson model. We give a general characterization of charge occupation numbers and linear conductance in regime interlevel Coulomb repulsion by employing various analytical techniques developed for the local moment regime of the Anderson model. Implications for population inversion, transmission phase lapse and orbital Kondo effect in quantum dots are discussed.
