Stochastic thermodynamics has revolutionized our understanding of far-from-equilibrium statistical physics over the last few decades and continues to result in profound, powerful results, ranging from fluctuation theorems to speed-limit theorems to thermodynamic uncertainty relations.
With this series of online workshops, we aim to provide a platform to everyone with an interest in stochastic thermodynamics to present and discuss their current research, fostering collaboration among communities and promoting the field to a broad range of scientists. We aim to have a wide-ranging cross-section of the stochastic thermodynamics community present their current research in one forum. We aim to support academics from under-represented groups working in the field, and we especially encourage junior researchers to submit their work for 10 minute lightning talks. Topics:
