The Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics (CMSP) section at ICTP explores a broad range of theoretical condensed matter physics topics  – including the physics of nanostructures, of many-body quantum systems at or far from equilibrium, the computer simulations of fluids and solids with atomistic, molecular and electronic structure methods. 

In this yearly section meeting, we aim to bring together members of the CMSP group working on diverse topics to share research activities in a very non-technical way. The main purpose of this 3 day event is to learn about ongoing projects within the section and to foster collaborations across different research areas pursued in the section.
