An ICTP 60^th anniversary satellite event

ICTP and Vietnam share a proud history of scientific collaboration. Over the years, the Centre has supported the visits of more than 1,500 scientists from Vietnam to participate in conferences, workshops and training and educational programmes. That collaboration has deepened thanks to the establishment of the two UNESCO Category 2 science institutes in Vietnam, the International Centre of Research and Postgraduate Training in Mathematics and the International Centre of Physics, both under the auspices of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
 
In recognition of this strong partnership, ICTP is organising an event in Hanoi for its many Vietnamese alumni as well as policymakers who will see first-hand the important impact that ICTP has had on Vietnamese science.
