Abstract:
Correspondences are multivalued maps that have been used to display behavior that simultaneously resembles rational maps and Kleinian groups. A surgery process has been described to mate quadratic polynomials with connected Julia set, and faithful and discrete representations of the modular group with connected regular set.
We prove that this process is continuous.
