Abstract
Vector type Non-Standard Interactions (NSI) can affect neutrino propagation in matter as well as the coherent elastic scattering of neutrinos off nuclei. In recent years, considering the ever increasing precision of the neutrino experiments, the vector NSI has received tremendous attention in the literature. However, axial NSI still remains  an uncharted territory. In this talk, I will first review the present bounds on the axial NS. I will then show how  measurements of neutral current events at the future DUNE experiment can improve the bounds. I will then present a toy model for axial NSI with sizable (testable) couplings.
