Abstract
It is known that to a local quantum field theory as seen by a uniformly accelerated observer is described by a thermal field theory at Unruh temperature. We revisit the same problem for a string theory. We discuss that to describe a closed string whose worldsheet is a Rindler wedge, one should replace the usual Virasoro constraints by a weaker constraint, which we call sandwich constriants. We solve sandwich constraints and discuss the physics of the extra states one gets compared to the usual case where we impose usual Virasoro constraints.
