Description
An ICTP meeting in presence

The goal of the school is to give a detailed overview of particle physics from the basics of Standard Model phenomenology to the most important areas where significant progress has been achieved recently.

The school is especially targeted to PhD students in high energy physics, but qualified MSc students in their last year as well as young postdocs can also apply.

Lectures:
  • Standard Model - R. Contino (U. Sapienza, Rome)
  • New Physics at Future Colliders - N. Craig (UC Santa Barbara and KITP)
  • Dark Matter and Dark Sectors - I. Garcia Garcia (U. Washington)
  • Non-perturbative Gauge Theories - B. Lucini (Swansea U.)
  • Cosmology of the Early Universe - M. Schmaltz (Boston U.)
  • Small Scale Experiments - K. Van Tilburg (New York U. and Flatiron I.)
  • Neutrino Astrophysics - M.C. Volpe (APC Paris)

Grants: A limited number of grants are available to support the attendance of selected participants, with priority given to participants from developing countries. There is no registration fee.
