DESCRIPTION:An ICTP-IAEA Meeting in person\n	The demand for Accelerator-ba
sed MeV single ion techniques is rapidly growing for applications in biome
dicine\, materials and semiconductor science\, and quantum technologies. N
ext generation applications and technologies will require unprecedented co
ntrol over the ion species\, energy and spatial precision with which these
ions are delivered. This workshop will address the current research trend
s in the field including an overview of state-of-the-art facilities and th
e techniques employed for radiobiology\, materials modification and quantu
m technologies. Methods for imaging and irradiating materials with single
ions will be discussed along with the technologies that have been develope
d to enable these techniques.Topics\n Introduction to single ion technol
ogy and applications\n \n High resolution imaging techniques using sing
le ions\n \n Accelerator technology for generating single ions\, beam f
ocusing and scanning systems\n \n Single ions in radiobiology and DNA d
amage and repair\n \n Quantum applications of single ions\n \n Studi
es of radiation hardness and devices for harsh radiation conditions\n	\n	T
he workshop is organized together with the IAEA-National University of Sin
gapore Collaborating Centre.\n	This workshop is open for MSc and PhD stude
nts and early career researchers (up to 7 years after PhD).\n	 Call for A
