Scientific Calendar Event

Description
The six-week online seminar series, generously supported by the Arab Fund for economic and social development, is designed to provide Sudanese students and researchers with the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to continue their academic journeys in physics despite the challenges they face due to the ongoing military conflict. This project will inspire curiosity, foster global collaboration, and help build a brighter future for physics education and research in Sudan. This could be achieved by connecting the Sudanese students and the researchers inside and outside Sudan with the global scientific community. The aim is to find opportunities to continue their studies further in their desired fields.
The online series of seminars will take place via Zoom platform from the 2nd of June until 15th of July. It will include two weekly seminars. Each week will feature one general seminar aimed at senior undergraduate and graduate students (in Arabic language) and one advanced seminar for senior researchers (in English language).

Main topics of the seminars:
- Environmental Science
- Experimental Physics
- Theoretical Physics
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Astronomy
- Cosmology
