DESCRIPTION:\n	The call for applications is now open. Please click "Apply
here" on the left.\n	 \n\n	This workshop is dedicated to exploring the tr
ansformative potential of Edge Artificial Intelligence (EdgeAI) and Tin
y Machine Learning (TinyML) in advancing environmental and radiation sen
 sing technologies.\n\n	\n	By enabling powerful\, real-time data analysis
directly on resource-constrained devices\, EdgeAI and TinyML offer a cruci
al shift from cloud-dependent processing. This paradigm allows for the dep
loyment of intelligent\, ultra-low-power sensors in remote\, infrastruct
ure-poor\, or time-critical environments. Participants will learn how thes
e technologies facilitate tracking climate-related changes\, monitor envir
onmental parameters and provide rapid\, localized radiation detection. Ult
imately\, the focus is on developing and deploying robust\, autonomous\, a
nd cost-effective sensing solutions essential for proactive disaster manag
 ement\, environmental protection\, and public safety.Topics:\n\n Introduc
tion to EdgeAI and TinyML\n	\n Low-Power Edge Devices for Environmental M
onitoring\n	\n Small Size\, Weight\, and Power (SWaP) Radiation Detection
Instrumentation\n	\n Deploying Machine Learning Models on Edge Devices\n
 	\n Case Studies & Applications\n	\n Data Collection and Preprocessing f
 or EdgeAI\n	\n Energy-Efficient AI Model Design\n	\n Scalability and Sus
tainability of EdgeAI Solutions\n\n	 \n\n	Research abstracts: In the appl
ication form\, applicants are encouraged to submit a brief research abstra
ct for a poster presentation and/or contributed talk. A limited number of
abstracts will be selected for the poster session or to give a talk. Pleas
e use ICTP templates available for download below.\n\n	Grants: A limited n
umber of grants are available to support the attendance of selected partic
ipants\, with priority given to participants from developing countries. Th
 ere is no registration fee.\n\n//indico.ictp.it/event/11116/
