The Workshop on Scientific Computing and AI, tailored for students and early-career researchers based in the Arab Region, will provide theoretical and hands-on training in high-performance computing, crucial data analysis pipelines, and the latest applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to accelerate scientific discovery. As part of the workshop activities, selected participants will present their research findings in a poster format.

Following this, the 1st Joint Kuwait University-ICTP Science Symposium will serve as a high-level platform for faculty from both institutions and from scientific institutions in the Arab region to present pioneering research, engage in strategic discussions, and lay the groundwork for impactful, long-term international collaborations.


Research abstracts: In the application form, applicants willing to submit a brief research abstract for a poster presentation are kindly requested to use the template available for download here or in the below section.


IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants who wish to attend the workshop must also register for the symposium here.
 
Grants: A limited number of grants are available to support the attendance of selected participants, with priority given to participants from developing countries. There is no registration fee.
