DESCRIPTION:\n	An ICTP Meeting\n	How the properties of impurities are modi
fied by their interaction with a surrounding medium is a fundamental quest
ion across several research areas and different physical systems. Yet\, a
common set of ideas and technical tools can be applied to these seemingly
different frameworks\, the investigation of one system yielding informatio
n on another.\n	This conference aims to bring together leading experts in
the multi-disciplinary study of impurity phenomena in a broad range of qua
ntum systems\, from ultracold atomic gases to strongly correlated electron
ic materials and heterostructures.Topics\n\n Impurities and Polarons in U
 ltracold Quantum Gases\n	\n Excitons\, Polarons\, and Exciton-Polaritons
 in 2D and Solid-State Systems\n	\n Polaron Formation\, Dynamics\, and Non
-Equilibrium Phenomena\n	\n Impurities with Long-Range or Tunable Interac
 tions\n	\n Impurities as Quantum Probes of Many-Body Systems\n	\n Quantu
m Simulation and Information Approaches to Impurity Physics\n\n	\n	The wor
kshop schedule will combine pedagogical and cross-disciplinary presentatio
ns with more technical ones\, leaving ample time for spontaneous discussio
ns and thus fostering new collaborations and approaches in the study of im
purity problems in emerging quantum science platforms.Speakers\n	J. Arlt\,
