DESCRIPTION:\n	The call for applications is now CLOSED.\n	 \n\n	This five
 -day workshop aims to establish an international consortium dedicated to a
 ddressing critical challenges in medicine through physics-based methodolog
 ies. The 2026 theme is:\n\n	Advancing Medicine Through Imaging for Cancer 
 Treatment\n\n	Medical imaging provides critical insights for personalizing
  cancer treatment. By extracting quantitative parameters from images\, we 
 can:- Automate cancer detection and treatment planning- Establish internat
 ional benchmarks to improve care quality- Understand tumor dynamics and ad
 apt treatments over time\n	 \n\n	The ultimate goal is to create a global 
 consortium that advances cancer care through imaging biomarkers\, characte
 rizing tumor evolution\, treatment interactions\, and enabling automation 
 in detection and therapy.\n	 \n\n	Participants have to submit a proposal 
 using the template provided in the webpage. Projects may focus on:- Resear
 ch: Addressing a scientific question- Open-Source Development: Creating to
 ols (software\, phantoms\, methodologies) for shared use\n\n	Topics:Imagin
 g Biomarkers for Prediction and Response- Modeling tumor evolution and the
 rapy response (assessment of treatment response)- Modeling emergence of tr
 eatment toxicity (assessment of treatment toxicity)- Linking imaging bioma
 rkers of response and toxicity to clinical outcomes (biomarkers as surroga
 te endpoints)\n\n	Standardization and Multimodal Integration- Technical re
 quirements for cross-center standardization of imaging biomarkers- Integra
 tion of imaging biomarkers with non-imaging biomarkers (e.g.\, liquid biop
 sies\, genomic and proteomic data)\n\n	Personalized and Adaptive Cancer Th
 erapy- Using quantitative imaging biomarkers to personalize therapy (radio
 therapy\, chemotherapy\, immunotherapy)- Dynamic adaptation of treatment s
 trategies based on imaging biomarkers. \n	 \nEach proposal will be discus

 to support the attendance of selected participants\, with priority given t
