DESCRIPTION:\n	The call for applications is now open.\n	 \n\n	This five-d
 ay workshop aims to establish an international consortium dedicated to add
 ressing critical challenges in medicine through physics-based methodologie
 s. The 2026 theme is:\n\n	Advancing Medicine Through Imaging for Cancer Tr
 eatment\n\n	Medical imaging provides critical insights for personalizing c
 ancer treatment. By extracting quantitative parameters from images\, we ca
 n:- Automate cancer detection and treatment planning- Establish internatio
 nal benchmarks to improve care quality- Understand tumor dynamics and adap
 t treatments over time\n	 \n\n	The ultimate goal is to create a global co
 nsortium that advances cancer care through imaging biomarkers\, characteri
 zing tumor evolution\, treatment interactions\, and enabling automation in
  detection and therapy.\n	 \n\n	Participants have to submit a proposal us
 ing the template provided in the webpage. Projects may focus on:- Research
 : Addressing a scientific question- Open-Source Development: Creating tool
 s (software\, phantoms\, methodologies) for shared use\n\n	Topics:Imaging 
 Biomarkers for Prediction and Response- Modeling tumor evolution and thera
 py response (assessment of treatment response)- Modeling emergence of trea
 tment toxicity (assessment of treatment toxicity)- Linking imaging biomark
 ers of response and toxicity to clinical outcomes (biomarkers as surrogate
  endpoints)\n\n	Standardization and Multimodal Integration- Technical requ
 irements for cross-center standardization of imaging biomarkers- Integrati
 on of imaging biomarkers with non-imaging biomarkers (e.g.\, liquid biopsi
 es\, genomic and proteomic data)\n\n	Personalized and Adaptive Cancer Ther
 apy- Using quantitative imaging biomarkers to personalize therapy (radioth
 erapy\, chemotherapy\, immunotherapy)- Dynamic adaptation of treatment str
 ategies based on imaging biomarkers. \n	 \nEach proposal will be discusse

  support the attendance of selected participants\, with priority given to
