DESCRIPTION:An ICTP MeetingThe call for applications is open. Please click
  on 'Apply here' on the left\, to submit your application.\n	This activity
  focuses on the latest advances in the investigation of topology in electr
 onic\, photonic\, phononic\, and atomic systems\, with participation by le
 ading theorists and experimentalists in these fields. It combines a school
  of two weeks\, with a one-week conference.\n	The classification of phases
  of matter by their topology has revolutionized our understanding of conde
 nsed matter systems. The activity will bring together theorists and experi
 mentalists from various communities (correlated materials\, mesoscopic phy
 sics\, atomic physics\, quantum optics) offering an excellent opportunity 
 for cross-fertilisation of ideas and an exciting learning experience for s
 tudents and early career researchers. The goal of the school is to provide
  an update of the state of the art of some of the most important developme
 nts of the field. The school addresses PhD students\, postdocs and junior 
 researchers. It will contain around 10 short courses consisting of a serie
 s of lectures\, which will cover theoretical as well as experimental topic
 s. The school will be followed by a conference\, which will discuss curren
