Open Quantum Systems - from Quantum Information to Condensed Matter | (smr 4204)
Starts 16 Nov 2026
Ends 20 Nov 2026

Singapore - Singapore
The call for applications will be open soon
Focusing on the competition between unitary evolution and environmental decoherence/dissipation, the school is intended to cover several key topics including quantum phase transitions in open systems, the dynamics of entanglement in the presence of noise, monitored quantum circuits, and the dynamics of noisy quantum devices. The lecture series are intended to teach the students about the foundations of the corresponding topics. A broad spectrum of PhD students in theoretical quantum physics is expected, and the lectures will be correspondingly accessible.
