 n the left\, in order to submit your application\n	\n	 \n\n	\n This work
shop has been one of the most popular events in the ICTP Scientific Calend
ar since its founding in 2013: a space for women in physics to share exper
iences\, build international networks\, master the soft skills needed to b
ridge the gender gap and thrive in their global scientific careers.\n	\n
\n	\n Despite global progress\, women remain underrepresented in the ph
ysics community\, resulting not only in a loss of talent but also in chall
enging working environments for those pursuing careers in physics\, who ma
y experience both social and professional isolation. This workshop is desi
gned to address these challenges providing a dedicated and supportive spac
e for women physicists to share experiences and perspectives. It also aims
to equip early-career female scientists with essential soft skills that a
re critical for career advancement and that are often acquired informally
through established networks\, from which women may be excluded. Furthermo
re\, the workshop seeks to foster the development of a global network of w
 omen physicists\, encouraging long-term collaboration\, mutual support\, a
 nd professional growth.\n	\n		 \n	\n Topics:\n		 \n	\n overview of wo
men in physics worldwide\n \n inspiring talks by 'successful' women in
 physics\n \n workshops on skills development\n \n panel discussions
on topics such as how to achieve work-life balance and how to choose resea
rch topics\n \n drama therapy workshop on how to deal with challenges i
 n the workplace\n \n scientific poster session\n	\n		 \n	Speakers: \n
