DESCRIPTION:\n	Abstract\n	The study of quark-gluon plasma (QGP) and its pr
operties is of fundamental significance to the understanding of the strong
interactions. Heavy-ion collision experiments have shown that the QGP beh
aves like a nearly perfect fluid for part of its evolution before eventual
hadronization. Using approximate symmetries\, such as the boost invarianc
e of the flow along the beam axis\, the hydrodynamic behaviour of the QGP
can be studied via simple models such as Bjorken and Gubser flow. In this
talk\, I will present the idea that these simple models are actually reali
zations of what has come to be known as "Carroll hydrodynamics\," which de
scribes the hydrodynamic behaviour of systems with an underlying Carroll b
oost invariance. In particular\, the geometric properties of the Carroll m
anifold map to the phenomenological assumptions that are built into these
models. The mapping between the two is not limited to ideal fluids\, and a
lso works after including dissipative corrections.\n	 \n\n	  Link to Zoo
