DESCRIPTION:\n	The call for application will be open soon.\n	Statistical p
hysics and stochastic theory constitute a framework for complex nonequilib
rium phenomena. This synergy is essential to model noise and dynamic livin
g systems in biophysics\, neuroscience\, and beyond. This school will prov
ide students key knowledge on nonequilibrium physics.\n	The school provide
s fundamental knowledge on nonequilibrium physics\, offering a rigorous ov
erview of stochastic processes\, transport phenomena\, and the rudiments o
f non-equilibrium statistical physics. Participants will also explore cutt
ing-edge applications spanning the physics of carbon nanostructures as wel
l as theoretical and experimental biophysics. Requiring minimal prior fami
liarity with these advanced topics\, the school aims to equip participants
—including Master’s and PhD students as well as early-career postdocs
—with groundbreaking research methodologies in modern physical sciences.
The primary objectives of the initiative are to foster scientific excelle
nce across Africa\, expand international collaboration\, facilitate the ex
change of scientific knowledge and technical expertise\, and promote meani
ngful interactions between emerging African emerging talents and leading g
 lobal researchers.Topics:\n Non-equilibrium stochastic processes\n \n
