Abstract:
Protein synthesis comes with large costs for the cells. Indeed, it is often tightly regulated in order for the cells to adapt to the surrounding environment. I will discuss different aspects of the relationship between proteome composition and metabolism using different theoretical tools, ranging from flux balance analysis, to coarse grained proteome kinetics, to kinetic modelling of single reactions.
