Scientific Calendar Event

Description The fast growing use of quantum theory in technology-oriented and information-related fields is heralding a new technological revolution based on the fruitful dialogue among theoretical and experimental physics, information theory and computer science.

The Workshop follows a School of the same title focussing from a more specialized perspective upon the same three topics:

i) Quantum dynamics in the macro-world: quantum coherence and entanglement
ii) Quantum theory as an interdisciplinary paradigm: quantum information and simulation
iii) Quantum physics as a technology boost: quantum devices and machines.

Aim of the Workshop is to bring together experts that will present their latest developments thus providing all participants, among them students who attended the School, with a unique venue for sharing and discussing novel trends and ideas, integrating the fundamentals with the ongoing state of the various disciplines.
