Portable x-ray spectrometry techniques in the characterization of art and archaeological valuable objects: revealing the object´s composition and structure in a fast and non-destructive way!
The Workshop aims to highlight the capabilities of portable x-ray spectrometry techniques for non-destructive characterization of art and archaeological valuable objects. The following topics will be discussed:
Comprehensive formulation of study problems as unavoidable requisite to achieve adequate characterization and selection of suitable analytical alternatives,
Advanced solutions for comprehensive characterization in different cases of study.
Demonstration of use of transportable instruments for inspection of ceramic, metal and painting objects
Applicants must be involved in work related to characterization of cultural heritage objects.
