Portable x-ray spectrometry techniques in the characterization of art and archaeological valuable objects: revealing the object´s composition and structure in a fast and non-destructive way!

The Workshop aims to highlight the capabilities of portable x-ray spectrometry techniques for non-destructive characterization of art and archaeological valuable objects. The following topics will be discussed:

• Comprehensive formulation of study problems as unavoidable requisite to achieve adequate characterization and selection of suitable analytical alternatives,
• Advanced solutions for comprehensive characterization in different cases of study.
• Demonstration of use of transportable instruments for inspection of ceramic, metal and painting objects

Applicants must be involved in work related to characterization of cultural heritage objects.
