Abstract: Kontsevich-Soibelman scattering diagrams are interesting objects which appear in algebraic geometry, for instance in Gromow-Witten theories for toric surfaces. In this talk I will define scattering diagrams and I will explain how I have used them in my research project, studying deformation theory of holomorphic pairs.
