The purpose of this School is to introduce the listed topics in a pedagogical manner. The lectures are aimed at graduate students and young researchers who wish to work on the field. It is expected that the participants have a basic knowledge of quantum field theory, Yang-Mills theory, general relativity and some supersymmetry. TOPICS: • Introduction to Super Yang-Mills theory and Super Conformal algebras • Supergravity theories and their D-brane solutions • AdS/CFT duality • non-AdS/non-CFT dualities • Applications to quark-gluon plasma • Holographic QCD LECTURERS INCLUDE: M.
