Scientific Calendar Event

Description
TOPICS

  • Status of the LHC machine, Experiments and Early Data
  • QCD at the LHC
  • Top Physics at the LHC
  • Higgs Physics at the LHC
  • New Physics and Strategies for Discovery

The workshop will provide a pedagogical overview of the physics of the LHC experiments and is intended for both experimentalists and theorists.
In addition to the lectures/courses there will be opportunities for younger researchers to present their research in short talks and poster sessions. Specialized tutorials in various software tools will also be given.
