Scientific Calendar Event

Description
In a variety of contexts, including things like decisions of which products to buy, whether to become informed about political candidates, or whether to become educated, peoples' decisions are heavily influenced by their friends and neighbors. A framework is developed to analyze such decision making and strategic interactions when embedded in a social network of connections. Results characterize how the network structure, an individual's position within the network, the strategic structure of the games and decisions, and the level of information, shape behavior.
