Description |
We discuss several quantum and classical phases that can be realized with molecular and atomic gases with dipolar interactions. In particular, we have in mind groundstate polar molecules and Rydberg-dressed alkali atoms confined to low dimensions, which are becoming available in experiments. Various solids and novel supersolid phases are shown to be stable in these systems. |
