I will talk about a novel kind of scalar field dynamic which nominally possess two scalar fields but acts effectively as a single degree of freedom. Casting it in terms of a perfect fluid, it behaves hydrodynamically like "dust" in the sense that it's soundspeed is identically zero. Unlike regular dust (like Cold Dark Matter  for example) however, this fluid possess a non-vanishing pressure. I will use this "dust with pressure" to construct a unified dark energy/dark matter cosmology with a single degree of freedom. If I have time, I will discuss issues with trying to construct a quantum field theory of Angel Dust.
