Description |
The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in collaboration with the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Abidjan Cocody are organising the "Capacity Building Workshop on Modelling of Regional Climate and Air Quality for West Africa", to be held from 07 - 11 October 2013 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. West Africa is one of the most important aerosols source in World due to the mixing of dust and combustion particles present into its atmosphere. These particles interact with regional climate and influence the regional air quality. So it appears important to reinforce the regional capacities about Regional climate studies and air quality monitoring. The goals of this workshop are to facilitate cooperation initiative with ICTP and to develop network for ideas and expertise exchange.
