Description |
Given a finite subgroup G in SL(2, C), the classical McKay correspondence relates the representation theory of G and the cohomology of the minimal resolution of the singular surface C^2/G. I will discuss a modern formulation of this correspondence, with introductions to the relevant notions, and present the problem I am currently working on. The talk will be aimed at a general maths audience including Ph.D. students. |
