Abstract. In this talk, I will describe how to test composite Higgs models at LHC by searching for top partners, in a simple and sistematic way. In the first part, I will show how to build effective lagrangians capturing the relevant features with a small number of parameters. In the second part, I will explore some of the rich phenomenology and use the experimental data to derive bounds on top partners. I will conclude by highligthing the open questions and the room for improvement.
