ICTP's partner institute in Rwanda, the ICTP-East African Institute for Fundamental Research (EAIFR), will celebrate a significant achievement: its first cohort of masters students have successfully completed their studies in the MSc physics programme it conducts with the University of Rwanda. We are pleased to announce the celebration for the first cohort of Masters students will take place today (in presence in Kigali, and online). Nine students from Rwanda, Sudan and Uganda have completed their studies in the MSc Physics program of the University of Rwanda (UR) conducted by EAIFR. Join us to celebrate their achievements! The celebration will be streamed on Zoom. Inaugurated in 2018, ICTP-EAIFR offers the same quality research and educational opportunities for which ICTP is world-renowned, but at a location more easily accessible to African scientists. ICTP-EAIFR is hosted by the University of Rwanda and supported by the Government of Rwanda's Ministry of Education.
