Description
An ICTP meeting in presence (by invitation only)

This is the second meeting of our group formed by mathematicians and physicists, focusing on deformation theory.

We will discuss a variety of topics:
  • the classical theory of Kodaira about deformations of complex structures of varieties,
  • the classical theory of and Kuranishi about deformations of vector bundles,
  • their modern noncommutative counterparts,
  • deformations of Landau--Ginzburg models,
  • their role in both the symplectic and algebraic geometric sides of Homological Mirror Symmetry,
  • and at each step we will investigate the interplay with Physics.
The program includes minicourses and talks by members of the group.
