Riva Massimiliano e Carlotta, Grignano
I - 34151 Trieste (Italy)
This is the second meeting of our group formed by mathematicians and physicists, focusing on deformation theory.
We will discuss a variety of topics:
the classical theory of Kodaira about deformations of complex structures of varieties,
the classical theory of and Kuranishi about deformations of vector bundles,
their modern noncommutative counterparts,
deformations of Landau--Ginzburg models,
their role in both the symplectic and algebraic geometric sides of Homological Mirror Symmetry,
and at each step we will investigate the interplay with Physics.
The program includes minicourses and talks by members of the group.
