Lecture 2:
From Counting to Homodyne Trajectories: Different Unravelings of the Same Lindbladian.
The second lecture will focus on various types of quantum trajectories that arise from different measurement schemes, all governed by the same Lindblad master equation. We will explore the concept of "unraveling" a Lindbladian evolution into individual quantum trajectories, comparing counting, homodyne and beta-dyne detection approaches. By studying these different types of unravelings, we will gain insights into how continuous measurements affect system evolution and how different observation strategies provide distinct information about quantum systems.
