In this seminar I will discuss the effect a network structure has on the generalized Lotka-Volterra model. First I will review the results in the high-connectivity limit where the model can be solved with the help of heterogeneous mean-field theory. And secondly, I will show new results for the purely cooperative model on networks with finite connectivity. Contrary to the high-connectivity regime, even the case of random regular graphs (no heterogeneity of degrees) shows non-trivial behavior.
