Abstract:
We will review the Nash iteration for the incompressible Euler equations and discuss the main quadratic cancellation. Then we will introduce the idea of intermittency in these schemes as pioneered by Buckmaster--Vicol in the context of the Navier--Stokes equations. We will discuss the recent applications of these intermittent Nash iterations for the Euler equations and conclude with some open problems. Based on joint works with Hyunju Kwon and Matthew Novack. |
