This is the opening activity of the Special Program “Moduli Spaces: Geometry, Structures, and Invariants”, to take place at ICTP from February to May 2027.
The first-week school will consist of five minicourses on central topics in moduli theory. The second-week conference will focus on current striking results, building on the material of the first week. Topics will include: aspects of the birational geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves and Brill-Noether theory, the geometry of spaces of quasimaps to moduli spaces of sheaves, the quantum cohomology of moduli spaces of sheaves in relation to their derived category, new developments in hyperkähler geometry.
Topics
Stability conditions and wallcrossing for moduli spaces of stable objects
Brill-Noether theory
Geometry of quasimap spaces to complete intersections
Structure of Invariants of quasimap spaces to quiver varieties and moduli spaces of sheaves
Hyperkähler moduli spaces, hyperholomorphic bundles, algebraic cycles on hyperkähler varieties
Invariants of moduli spaces of stable sheaves on surfaces, Vafa-Witten theory
