The Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves (VBAC) Conferences have been held annually at institutions around the world since 1994 and have played a central role in shaping research directions in the field.

The purpose of VBAC is to bring together leading experts to assess recent developments, identify emerging trends, and define priorities for future research. The 30th edition of the series will serve as the closing event of the Special Program “Moduli Spaces: Geometry, Structures, and Invariants,” to be held at ICTP from February to May 2027.

Topics
  • Birational geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves, wallcrossing, Brill-Noether theory
  • Derived categories of moduli spaces of sheaves
