Connecting Afghan Physics Students with the Global Scientific Community

The 3rd ICTP PWF Annual Afghan Physics Students' Conference brings together Afghan physics students online with leading international researchers, universities, and scientific organisations for two days of scientific exchange, networking, and career development.

The online programme will feature research presentations by Afghan undergraduate and graduate physics students, presentations from international universities and research institutions highlighting study, research, and career opportunities, and a special keynote lecture by Professor John Ellis.

The conference provides a unique platform for Afghan students to present their research, receive feedback from experts, exchange ideas with peers, and build connections with the international physics community.

We warmly invite:

• Afghan undergraduate and graduate physics students to present their research, participate in scientific discussions, and connect with researchers and mentors from around the world.
• Researchers, academics, and representatives of universities and scientific organisations to introduce their institutions, share opportunities for study and research, and support the next generation of Afghan physicists through mentoring and collaboration.

Together, we aim to strengthen scientific connections, inspire young physicists, and continue building a vibrant, internationally connected Afghan physics community.

Presenting Your Research (Afghan Students Only)

Afghan undergraduate and graduate physics students who wish to give a presentation must register using the following form:

Researchers and other attendees who do not intend to give a student presentation can join over the Google Meet link we will update in this webpage soon.
