We discuss recently formulated dualities between Chern-Simons-Matter CFT's in 2+1 dimensions. These conjectured dualities relate Chern-Simons gauge theories with fermionic matter to theories with bosonic matter. We'll briefly try to illustrate different lines of research, in the high-energy and in the condensed matter communities, leading to these surprising statements. We will then focus the attention to the case of Abelian gauge theories, and show how to construct a web of dualities 'composing' in a simple way the basic bosonizations. For instance the boson-boson 'particle-vortex duality' of the 80's and a newly formulated fermion-fermion duality can be proven in a couple of steps using some Abelian bosonization.
