Background and purpose
The Institute of Physics (IOP) and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics are organising a weeklong workshop for science and engineering students and graduates from low-to-middle income countries who are interested in developing entrepreneurial skills. Participants will be introduced to the process of innovation, generation and protection of intellectual property, technology transfer and the commercialisation of ideas and inventions. They will benefit also from the international perspectives and insights of leading experts in the field.
