A. Mellit will give a survey talk on Horn's problem following Fulton's paper "Eigenvalues, invariant factors, highest weights and Schubert calculus". Horn's problem is the characterization of the eigenvalues of the sum of two Hermitian matrices in terms of those of the summands.
