Abstract: In this talk I will construct a paralell between the DDF operators in the bosonic string and the pure spinor superstring. Starting with the massless vertices, a creation/annihilation algebra will be presented and a simple procedure to construct the usual light-cone superstring spectrum will be shown, together with some particularities of the formalism.
