Abstract: We shall discuss a finer-scale statistic, known as 'pair correlation', for sequences of numbers. We mainly focus on the Poissonian pair correlation of sequences in higher-dimensional setting. This talk is based on joint work with T. Bera and A. Mukhopadhyay.
