Description |
Physics Latam is pleased to announce an online course in Quantum Field Theory, open to undergraduate and graduate students from Latin America and other developing countries.
The course will be held online from September 8, 2025, to January 30, 2026, and will be taught by Jonathan Lozano from the University of Texas at Austin. It will provide comprehensive training in classical field theory, quantum field theory, quantum electrodynamics, gauge theories, and many more. Students will have the opportunity to solve weekly assignments on these topics and participate in online discussions. All students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate issued by ICTP–PWF. In addition to the main lectures, the program will feature mini-courses and seminars delivered by leading experts in the field. Topics will include: gauge theories, mathematical physics, topological quantum field theories, current topics in high energy physics, and many others. This is a unique opportunity to learn QFT from internationally recognized researchers, while joining a vibrant community of students and scholars from around the globe.
