Physics Without Frontiers and Université de Lomé present an Advanced DFT Course: Theory and Applications This advanced training course is provided at the University of Lomé in collaboration with the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). The training is provides participants with both  practical experience and theoretical knowledge in materials modeling and simulations.

The program will cover the following topics:

•  Monte Carlo simulations
•  QM/DFT for atoms, molecules, and crystals
•  Forces and energies from QM/DFT
•  High-Performance Computing in DFT
•  GW methods and TDDFT
•  DFT for catalysis

Professor Mark Casida from the University of Grenoble Alpes, France, will be a guest lecturer.

Registration for the course will be done physically at the University of Lomé's physics department.
